Anubis is the Protector of the gates to the underworld, Osiris replaced him as the god of the dead. He looks like a man with the head of a jackal (a jackal is a scavenging and hunting animal, native to Africa, that is closely related to wolves). Anubis is the God of the dead.
Hathor was one of the most important and complex goddesses of ancient Egypt. A mother goddess who created and maintained all life on earth, Hathor was also worshipped as goddess of the sky, fertility, music, and dance and as the symbolic mother of the pharaoh, or ruler of Egypt.
Ra was the most important God. He was the lord of all the gods. He was usually shown in human form with a falcon head, crowned with the sun disc encircled by the a sacred cobra. When Amun was combined with the sun god Ra he was even more powerful.
